When I talk about content, I’m not just talking about the stuff that goes on in front of the camera. Behind-the-scenes (BTS) content is an important aspect of any video production. It allows viewers to get even more insight into what goes on behind the scenes, and it’s a great way to connect with your audience in an authentic way.
You don’t have to go all out.
Creating behind-the-scenes content doesn’t have to be expensive, nor does it require any experience.
You can create dope BTS videos using your phone, a camera, or a simple screen recording program. You can use Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, etc. If you have a more complex shoot in mind, higher a cameraman to follow you around and get good shots.
Documenting takes little effort but provides so much value for fans because they can see all the hard work that goes into your music.
Video and photo content is great for giving people a behind-the-scenes look at what you’re up to in the studio and on tour.
You could also post text updates on social media, like Instagram stories, Facebook statuses, or tweets.
Connect with people on a deeper level.
People want to know the process. They want to know how you do what you do and where it all started. They want to know how you got where you are, and they also want a glimpse into what goes on in your studio.
It helps connect with people on a deeper level because it gives them an inside look at who you really are as an artist, which can make them feel like they’re getting to know the real person behind the music or art.
It’s time to begin creating your behind-the-scenes content and letting your fans into your world. Remember that you don’t have to go all out with every piece of content that you create. Just keep it real and authentic.
